ApiKey Creation and Management Guide

An ApiKey is your "passport" for calling NextHub services, and every tool configuration requires filling it in.

Create Key

1. Open the console and find "Token Management"

Log in to the nexthub.cc console and click "Token Management" in the left panel.

2. Click "Create Key"

On the Token Management page, click the "Create Key" button, enter a name, and confirm to generate the key.

3. Set optional parameters as needed

When creating a key you can also set: a quota cap, an expiration time, an IP whitelist / blacklist, and rate limits for the 5-hour / daily / weekly windows. If you are unsure what to enter, just keep the defaults.

4. Remember to select the correct group when creating your key

Different groups map to different models and multipliers, and picking the wrong group may prevent you from reaching the right models. Choose the group that matches the model you want to use: for the Claude series choose the claude code group (0.37x, no client restrictions), for higher stability and cache hit rate choose the Claude Max group (0.5x), for the Amazon Bedrock route choose the Claude-AWSB group (0.7x), for the GPT / Codex series choose the GPT-Azure group (0.47x), for lower prices choose the GPT-Pro group (0.11x, no image generation), for Gemini choose between Gemini-aistudio (0.28x) and Gemini-Vertex (0.49x) depending on your budget, for the Grok series choose the Grok group (0.55x), and for domestic open-source models choose 国产模型组 (0.15x).

Troubleshooting Common Errors

What to check when you see "Model unavailable" or "Request rejected"

  1. Confirm the model you are calling belongs to the group selected for this ApiKey (see Channels and Models)
  2. Check that the model ID is spelled exactly as in the model list
  3. A 429 indicates insufficient quota or balance — check your account quota and balance
